WealthONE Bank of Canada Brings "Rainy Day Savings" Campaign Directly to Canadians

In late September, WealthONE Bank of Canada launched its first direct-to-consumer brand activation, designed to encourage Canadians to save for a rainy day. The Rainy Day Savings Campaign is a brand awareness initiative inspired by a simple truth: rainy days happen, be prepared for when they do. Using the umbrella as a visual symbol of preparedness, the campaign highlights WealthONE's High-Interest Savings Account (HISA) as a practical way for Canadians to grow their savings, build financial confidence, and prepare for whatever lies ahead.

Bringing the campaign to life beyond traditional advertising, the WealthONE team took to Toronto's Financial District to distribute branded umbrellas and engage directly with Canadians. The activation was complemented by a dedicated "Save Smarter" campaign hub, where consumers could learn more about WealthONE's savings solutions and how they can support future financial goals.

"This campaign marks the first time we've taken our message directly to Canadians in a face-to-face setting. Great products and great service are essential, but first people need to know who we are. This campaign is about creating meaningful connections and introducing more Canadians to WealthONE and the value of saving for the future." said Grant Armstrong, Chief Growth Officer, WealthONE Bank.
