WealthONE Bank of Canada is helping Canadians make more of their savings by increasing rates across its TFSA High Interest Savings Account, RRSP High Interest Savings Account and non-registered High Interest Savings Account, offering clients the opportunity to earn up to 3.25% per annum, effective October 29, 2026.
The new rates include 3.25% on all balances in TFSA and RRSP High Interest Savings Accounts, while the non-registered High Interest Savings Account offers a tiered rate based on account balance, with balances of $25,000 or more earning 3.25% per annum.
The increase follows WealthONE’s move to a 3.00% High Interest Savings Account rate in July and reflects the Bank’s continued focus on delivering greater value for Canadians looking to grow their savings.
“We know Canadians are looking for better value from their banks. They work hard for their money, and their money should work hard for them,” said Grant Armstrong, Chief Growth Officer, WealthONE Bank of Canada. “By increasing our savings rates, we’re helping clients earn more on the money they’ve set aside, whether they’re building an emergency fund, saving for a future goal or planning for retirement.”
The increased rates have also been recognized as a positive development for Canadian savers. Hanif Bayat, CEO of WOWA.ca, noted:
“Rising interest rates usually bring bad news for borrowers, but WealthONE is making them good news for savers. The bank is giving Canadians an opportunity to earn more on their money while keeping it readily accessible.”
Designed for savers looking for both growth and flexibility, WealthONE’s High Interest Savings Accounts provide the opportunity to earn a competitive return while maintaining access to savings when needed.
The new rates are available to both existing and new WealthONE clients, subject to the applicable account and balance requirements.
