    Position summary

    As a Client Service Representative, whether it’s answering calls, online inquiries or assisting with transactions you will help clients with their day-to-day banking needs and be the first line of support connecting clients with the appropriate financial products and solutions offered by the Bank.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    To help deliver a great client experience, the Client Service Representative may be required to work flexible shifts throughout the week and provide coverage as required to meet business needs.

    Key responsibilities

    • Answers incoming client calls and email inquiries and takes accountability to help fulfil clients wishes or directs client inquiries to other team members who may be best positioned to fulfil clients wishes.
    • Offers advice and guidance on available digital and self-serve options for clients to make their banking easier and faster with WealthONE.
    • Conducts client retention activities such as calling GIC/mortgage clients for upcoming renewals.
    • Assists occasional walk-in clients with their banking transactions ie. depositing cheques, printing statements and opening accounts.
    • Maintains client confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential.
    • Updates and uploads all client interactions in corresponding systems.
    • Performs other related operational duties as assigned or required.

    Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Experience):

    • Fluency in English. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.
    • Telephone client service experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
    • Strong customer service-orientation; excellent communication skills; discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and achieve timely deliverables.

    • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada. While we are based in Toronto, due to COVID-19 this role can be conducted from any location at present. Our preference is for the incumbent to be Toronto based as some work in the Toronto office will be required.
    • This is a regular full-time role that may require some flexibility to work flexible hours throughout the week and provide coverage as required to meet business needs.
    • You will report directly to the Manager, Banking Operations.
