    Job Description

    Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this important new position is part of the Risk Management team. In this key role, you will provide guidance on a range of risk related matters and design and implement risk reporting and key analytics to support the overall Risk Management function for the Bank with a focus on the Bank’s lending products spanning the entire credit life cycle – originations, portfolio management, collections, and fraud mitigation.

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Regulatory Reporting input.
    • As part of a team, design a Risk Data Mart.
    • Support the Chief Risk Officer with report preparation – Board, Committees, Regulators


    Occupational Experience & Education Requirements

    • 3-5 years of banking experience in a financial services environment with exposure to regulatory compliance and investigations.
    • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
    • 2 years in the AML/Fraud industry.
    • ACAMS Certification or courses considered an asset.
    • Fraud Certification or courses considered an asset.

    • You know that attention to detail and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information matters.
    • As a creative problem solver, you know how to analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions.
    • You have excellent MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint and a strong command of SQL, VBA and/or other programming languages.
